Gambhir's calm, disciplined captaincy transformed KKR.

Third Title: 2024

KKR won their third IPL title in 2024 — 10 years after their second — under Shreyas Iyer's captaincy and with Gambhir returning as mentor. The team demolished Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final at Chepauk, with Venkatesh Iyer, Andre Russell, and Sunil Narine all contributing. The victory was a testament to KKR's ability to rebuild cycles and maintain competitive standards.

A sold-out Eden Gardens for a KKR playoff match is one of cricket's great spectacles — 66,000 fans creating a wall of sound, yellow-and-purple flags everywhere. The ground's history (1987 World Cup semi-final, Laxman's 281) adds a weight of occasion that makes KKR home games uniquely intense.
