Gerhard Erasmus Explained: Namibia's Captain and the Story of African Cricket

Gerhard Erasmus (born 26 February 1990 in Windhoek, Namibia) is a right-handed batting allrounder who captains the Namibia national cricket team. He led Namibia through their historic qualification for and participation in the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup — the first time Namibia had ever appeared in the main round of a major ICC tournament.
