About The Hundred

The Hundred is England's 100-ball franchise competition, introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2021 and contested between eight city-based teams: Trent Rockets, Southern Brave, Oval Invincibles, Manchester Originals, London Spirit, Welsh Fire, Northern Superchargers, and Birmingham Phoenix. Each team plays a 100-ball innings — 10 bowlers' blocks of 10 balls, with the option to bowl 5 consecutive balls from either end — creating a faster-paced format that targets new audiences while retaining the sport's core tactical dimensions. The Hundred 2026 runs from 21 July to 16 August, across eight host venues including Lord's, The Oval, Headingley, Edgbaston, and Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. The competition runs simultaneous men's and women's competitions sharing the same grounds and match days, a structural decision aimed at driving attendance and broadcast parity between the two programmes. Overseas players from across the international and franchise circuit fill the competition's import slots, giving it a comparable talent level to other global T20 leagues. The Hundred sits at the height of the English summer, following the T20 Blast and preceding the start of the Test season's final phase, making it a central fixture on the ECB calendar. GeoCric covers every Hundred 2026 match with live scores, team standings, and player statistics.
